SESSION DESCRIPTION

In this WELCOA Intensive, Attorney Barbara Zabawa, lead author of Rule the Rules of Workplace Wellness Programs, will lead participants through the various parts of the law that impact workplace wellness programming. If you ever wanted a crash course in all things workplace wellness law, this is it. We will explore legal foundations, group health plan laws, data collection laws, discrimination laws, licensing laws, worker’s compensation laws, taxation laws, FDA and FTC laws, as well as talk about the future of workplace wellness and ways to minimize legal risk. Attendees will apply concepts to case examples and have plenty of time to ask questions and get feedback from one another.
